Bridgeline Software develops on-line resource center for Northeastern University & FMCS

Boston, Mass. October 30, 2001 - Bridgeline Software today announced that it is developing an on-line Resource Center for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services ("FMCS") and Northeastern University. The Resource Center FMCS mediators will be able to efficiently obtain information relevant to current mediations. The Resource Center will also provide an improved presentation tool for communication and training purposes. Once competed the new Resource Center will include the following features:

  • An intuitive information access system that enables Federal mediators to find the information they need quickly and painlessly
  • A warehouse of information including negotiated contracts representing a cross-section of industries and labor organizations, industry specific trends and analysis, live links to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, case studies and best practices
  • A content management system (CMS) to enable designated personnel to enter data into the Resource Center and create intranet-enabled access to the information
  • Sophisticated PowerPoint templates, enabling mediators to quickly piece together professional presentations and training programs
