Bridgeline Expands into The Washington DC Market

Hires Seasoned Executive to be Sr. Vice President & General Manager

Boston, MA. November 24, 2003 - Bridgeline Software announced today that it is expanding its presence in the Washington DC marketplace. The company already has a solid customer base with government agencies such as the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Services, National Education Association, and the United States Postal Services. Launching an operation in the Washington DC market will allow Bridgeline to improve its already strong relationships with its existing local customers and expand its customer base with other government agencies and surrounding Fortune 3,000 businesses.

Mr. Marino has over a decade of experience managing rapidly growing professional interactive technology companies that focused on delivering technologically progressive Internet solutions to Fortune 500 customers.

Prior to joining Bridgeline Software, Mr. Marino was the Managing Director / Global Alliance Director of AKQA, Inc., a global, full-service digital agency. In 2001 AKQA merged with Magnet Interactive, where Mr. Marino was the Managing Director of the Washington, DC office. From 1998 to 2001 Mr. Marino rapidly grew Magnet Interactive from $4M to over $24M in annual sales and attracted a customer roster that included companies such as Kellogg Company, Gillette, Merck, Federal Express, Kodak, PaineWebber, American Express, Mercedes-Benz, N.A., Nissan Motor USA, Binney & Smith (Crayola) and Mayo Medical Ventures, a publishing division of The Mayo Clinic.

From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Marino had various progressive management positions within Magnet Interactive including Vice President of Client and Practice Management. In this role Mr. Marino managed day-to-day operations, production management, as well as creative and technology teams who grew from 30 to a department of 80.

Mr. Marino received a Masters degree from New York University in Interactive Technology, ITP Program. In addition he received a Bachelor degree in communications from Boston University.
