Bridgeline Expands its Executive Management Team

Seasoned Executive joins as Executive Vice President & COO

Boston, MA. December 15, 2004 - Bridgeline Software announces today that it is expanding the depth of its senior management team. The company has hired David March as its Executive Vice President, & Chief Operating Officer. Mr. March has over fifteen years of outstanding operating experience managing and rapidly growing professional technology companies.

"David's impressive record of building and developing successful sales and marketing organizations, combined with his experience implementing strong software integration processes will be very valuable to our continued rapid growth," said Thomas Massie, Bridgeline Software's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Bridgeline Software, Mr. March was the Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, and Chief Strategy Officer for Catalyst International. Catalyst International is a Bridgeline Software customer who standardized their web properties content management requirements with netEDITOR-pro. Catalyst International is a company that delivers software solutions that enable companies to optimize the performance of their enterprise supply chains. With annual sales of $40 million per year, Catalyst has provided successful SCE solutions for customers around the world, including General Motors, Boeing, Brown Forman, OfficeMax, Panasonic, Rayovac, Subaru, and The Home Depot. Approximately 90 days ago Catalyst was acquired by Comvest Investment Partners.

Mr. March held executive management positions with companies such as Parsytec and Foliage Software Systems. In addition Mr. March was the Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Thermo Jarrell Ash, a $100 million division of Thermo Electron.

Mr. March holds his MBA Finance and a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Engineering Chemistry from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.
