Bridgeline To Launch A Software Development center in India

Boston, MA. January 28, 2004 - Bridgeline Software announced today that it plans to continue to broaden its presence by opening a development center in Bangalore, India, an emerging center for software development activities and IT services. This technologically rich region will allow BRIDGELINE to hire some of the area's brightest web and application developers in the world at very competitive rates.

In addition to a Web Services Programming group, the BRIDGELINE-India operation will have a Research and Development team of engineers that will focus its efforts exclusively on the continued development of the netEDITOR, docWIZARD, and other web based software tools.

Bridgeline Software's President & CEO, Thomas Massie states that, "Once BRIDGELINE-India is fully operational, we believe that we will be able to dramatically reduce our customers' web services cost, while continuing to deliver a high quality work product."

Paresh Vora was recently appointed as the Managing Director of Bridgeline Software-India, and will lead the efforts of building and managing a world-class development team. Bridgeline Software-India has plans to hire as many as 100 developers over the next 18 months. Mr. Vora has over 18 years of senior management experience in the high tech field and holds a Computer Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology as well as an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
