National Fire Protection Association Selects Bridgeline Software's netEDITOR-pro Web Content Management Solution

Boston, MA. February 24, 2004 - Bridgeline Software announced today that it has been selected by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to implement netEDITOR-Pro content management software for the NFPA's public website.

The NFPA, headquartered in Quincy MA, is an international, nonprofit membership association that strives to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating scientifically-based consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. Founded in 1896, the NFPA today has a membership of over 75,000 individuals from around the world and over 80 national trade and professional organizations.

The NFPA website ( is the organization's primary source of communication for the following major constituencies: members, non-member professionals involved in fire and life safety, the media and the general public. The website with over 1700 pages of content is updated daily and serves as a source for news and current events as well as information about fire safety codes and standards to all the NFPA's constituencies.

BRIDGELINE'S netEDITOR-Pro software was selected following a vendor review process by the NFPA that included many leading content management products. BRIDGELINE will also work with the NFPA to improve the usability of its website.
