Nomura Securities Launches New Loans Web Property Developed by Bridgeline Software
September 20, 2005
New York, NY. September 20, 2005 - Over the last four years, Bridgeline Software has become an integral part of the Nomura Securities Fixed Income web property development team. Bridgeline has provided support throughout many of Nomura Fixed Income’s web based initiatives and has developed a multitude of web-based applications over the years.
Recently, Bridgeline developed a new web property for Nomura Loans (www.nomuraloans.com). The re-designed web property provides corporate clients (Sellers) the ability to calculate and transact loans with Nomura Securities. The site is a third-party service that allows Sellers to log in and apply for loans for their customers. In addition to applying for and locking loans, further functionality provides Sellers the ability to view their pipeline status, re-lock, extend or re-price loans as well as view Nomura pricing history.
The site is permission based providing a Nomura administrator the ability to customize each Sellers experience – in essence creating a custom “Broker Portal” that displays all information relevant to that brokers account (i.e. custom pipeline view, the ability to price and lock loans, etc).
The Bridgeline user experience team worked closely with Nomura Securities to architect and design an engaging user interface. End-users have found the console to be extremely intuitive and productive. Bridgeline developers worked with Nomura’s development team to build a robust and fast application that processes user requests and transactions in seconds.
Bridgeline is currently developing a new component of the website, specifically for underwriting purposes, which is scheduled to launch later this year.
