Everbright Energy Selects the iAPPS Product Suite For New Website and Business Launch

Woburn, MA | June 08, 2011

Bridgeline Digital, Inc. developer of the award-winning iAPPS web engagement management platform and interactive technology solutions, announced that EverBright Energy, an Illinois based energy company, has launched its new website (www.everbrightenergy.com) on iAPPS Content Manager, iAPPS Analytics and iAPPS Marketier. Bridgeline developed and now provides the ongoing managed services for the EverBright website in its state-of-the-art SaaS hosting environment.

Started as a subsidiary of Illinois energy company Nania Energy, Inc., EverBright Energy was launched to serve Illinois residents and small businesses with similar competitive pricing for electricity supply that has been available to commercial businesses for decades. The ability to encourage competition on the non-commercial level became a reality only recently with the advent of deregulation in the state. EverBright Energy endeavors to offer these savings as well as trusted electricity supply through Integrys Energy Services’ fixed rate product.

EverBright Energy recognized that to successfully launch their new business, they needed to educate a largely unaware residential and small business demographic. After conducting a thorough vendor evaluation process, they determined that the advantages of Bridgeline Digital’s award-winning iAPPS Product Suite offered the perfect platform to help make that a reality. With the choice of iAPPS Content Manager to run their website, EverBright leverages one of the most advanced and easy-to-use web optimization platforms on the market to help the company’s web engagement strategy achieve success.

Dedicated Energy for Marketing & Operations

“Bridgeline came to the table with a comprehensive application that makes sense for EverBright Energy, both for the brand’s inception as well as for its long-term growth,” said Kevin Ritter, EverBright Energy’s Director of Mass Marketing.  “That the iAPPS Product Suite unifies Content Management, e-Commerce, e-Marketing, and Analytics capabilities in one place will help my team become more efficient and productive.”

A 2010 CODiE Award Winner and 2011 Finalist for Best Content Management Solution, iAPPS Content Manager makes it easier than ever for marketers to quickly add, update, and most importantly, optimize new content for their site. The easy-to-use WYSIWYG interface boosts adoption of the system and leverages efficient approval processes and customizable workflows to ultimately produce an innovative, intuitive and active site. Furthermore, Bridgeline’s Digital Strategy Group facilitated content development for the Everbright site, with particular attention paid toward a content structure that generated highly effective Search Engine Optimization results.

Among the site’s highlights:

  • Bridgeline helped to develop a custom, comprehensive location-based Energy Savings Calculator that helps residents see the difference that choosing Integrys would make in their monthly and yearly energy costs.
  • Bridgeline also created a simple, integrated sign-up process to retrieve real time pricing and plan options. The sign-up feature captures account and personal information and, utilizing Salesforce.com, passes it through to Integrys for final enrollment. The overall process is designed to quickly overtake the competition’s customer base by directly driving registrations.
  • Using the iAPPS Analytics module, EverBright Energy will be able to track and analyze the efficiency of campaigns, regular statistics and all other performance metrics associated with the site, all through a single, comprehensive front end.  By analyzing goals and identifying and manipulating thresholds for watched site visitor activity, users and administrators alike can influence a number of site aspects. At the same time, they are able to track spikes or dips across a variety of metrics and campaigns, and immediately make adjustments.

Additionally, the deployment of iAPPS Marketier will aid EverBright Energy in its direct marketing efforts using email campaigns to help drive any number of business growth models. By attaching simple and well-designed template-based emails directly to goals set up in the Analytics module, marketers are able to reach out to distinct demographic segments and increase signups in an elegant and active process.

“The EverBright Energy website was a completely collaborative effort,” says Becki Dilworth, Vice President of Digital Strategy at Bridgeline Digital. “Bringing together the flexibility of iAPPS with a thoughtful content strategy is key to the success of this site. Not only do they have a solid baseline of content – they have the necessary tools to continue to use and measure content effectiveness in their marketing efforts.”
