Woburn, MA | April 04, 2011Bridgeline Digital, Inc.
developer of the award-winning iAPPS
web experience management product suite and interactive technology solutions, announced today that websites it developed for Songbird Hearing, Janney Montgomery Scott, and PODS were recently honored by the Web Marketing Association as IAC Award-winners (Internet Advertising Competition). The Songbird and PODS sites each won for Best Website within their respective industry category, while the Janney site was recognized for Outstanding Website design. The Internet Advertising Competition was developed in 1999 to recognize superiority in online advertising and acknowledge those responsible for quality online marketing.
"Each year the creativity and excellence in online advertising continues to rise," said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association, Inc. "The Web Marketing Association is pleased to help set the standard for Internet excellence with the IAC Awards by highlighting the best in online advertising by medium and industry."
The winning entry for Best Medical Equipment Website was awarded to the SongbirdHearing.com website. Developed on iAPPS Content Manager, iAPPS Commerce and iAPPS Marketier, the website was developed to augment Songbird's primary reliance on Direct Response Television advertising and give them capabilities to execute and track highly targeted interactive campaigns that increase the effectiveness of their advertising spend. The interactive marketing solution that Bridgeline developed for Songbird more capably distributes their patented hearing technology to highly targeted audiences. With iAPPS as their web engagement platform, Songbird is able to deliver relevant shopping experiences to site visitors that result in building long-term customer relationships and increased revenues.
Winning accolades for Outstanding Website design was janney.com, the website for Janney Montgomery Scott, a full-service financial services firm and subsidiary of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Also developed on the iAPPS Product Suite, janney.com was built to more correctly reflect Janney's current corporate brand identity and content requirements, while also providing a more effective gateway to their business lines and secure information. By leveraging iAPPS Content Manager, Janney can quickly and easily deliver up-to-date, brand-sensitive content in real time. Additionally, iAPPS Content Manager empowers Janney's non-technical site administrators to create, manage and edit site content within an easy-to-use interface.
Awarded Best Website in the Transportation Industry category was PODS.com. Recently redeveloped by Bridgeline, the new PODS site was targeted specifically at increasing the percentage of PODS' customers that book online versus over the phone. The new website focuses heavily on delivering relevant user experiences for identified audience segments that visit PODS.com with the goal of providing relevant information for each. From PODS' homepage, visitors can now easily pick which customer segment they belong to by clicking one of four prominently placed segment areas. By doing so, they're able to view a series of pages specifically designed to meet their needs, including relevant content and quote mechanisms.
"The Internet Advertising Competition developed by the Web Marketing Association is a prestigious award program," says Thomas Massie, Bridgeline Digital Chairman and CEO. "We are flattered to have received winning honors from this award competition for our 2011 entries. Our achievements tell us that we are on the forefront of the interactive solutions industry."
