IBT ranks Bridgeline Digital 21st Fastest Growing Internet Software & Services Company Globally

Woburn, MA | January 26, 2012

Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLIN), developer of the award-winning iAPPS web experience management (WEM) platform and interactive technology solutions, today announced that it was ranked #21 on the 2011 IBT1000 List of the World’s Fastest Growing Internet Software & Services Companies. Published annually by the International Business Times, the IBT1000 celebrates companies that have outperformed others in the global marketplace and are innovators in their specific industries. Major companies such as Apple, Amazon.com, Priceline.com, Netflix and others joined Bridgeline Digital, Inc. on this significant and revealing ranking.

The 2011 IBT 1000 Fastest Growing Companies list ranks companies using their 3-Year Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). To be eligible, companies must have had minimum revenue of $2,000,000 in 2011 and be an independent, for profit, public company (not a subsidiary or division of another company). “We hope the IBT1000 list will inspire entrepreneurs and company leaders to successfully contribute to the global economy in the 21st century”, said IBTimes’ Executive Editor Johnathan Davis.

Energizing Bridgeline’s impressive growth over the past three years has been the continued success of the CODiE Award-winning iAPPS Product Suite. Overall iAPPS license sales in FY2011 were 47% higher than in FY2010, and nearly 500 licenses have been sold since the first iAPPS product module was launched in Bridgeline’s first quarter of FY2008. iAPPS’ fully integrated WEM suite of sophisticated eCommerce, content management, eMail marketing, and web analytics capabilities empower marketers to better control their multi-channel campaigns and more effectively engage, nurture, understand and convert site visitors. The iAPPS Product Suite was recently selected as a finalist for two 2011 CODiE Awards and iAPPS Content Manager is the 2010 CODiE Award Winner for Best Content Management Solution, globally.

“Bridgeline is extremely honored to be recognized by the International Business Times,” said Thomas Massie, Bridgeline’s Chairman and CEO. "We’re proud that our team’s extraordinary efforts have culminated in this impressive honor, and we’re looking forward to the positive impact that our ongoing iAPPS’ development will have on our customers’ marketing optimization initiatives and our overall company growth."
