Bridgeline Digital’s iAPPS Platform Powers Three Internet Advertising Competition Award-Winning Websites
Burlington, MA | April 23, 2013
Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLIN), The Digital Engagement Company™, announced today that the Web Marketing Association has honored three iAPPS driven websites with the prestigious Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Award. The IAC Award recipients are Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) for Best Associations Website and Children's Hospital Colorado Orthopedics Institute for Best Health Care Website. The award for Best Small Business Website was also won for a large, nationally known franchise organization.
The IAC judges are representative of the full spectrum of the online marketing industry, and all entries are judged on competitive criteria in a head-to-head format, facing other entries within their specific categories. These criteria include creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, use of the medium, and memorability.
SGIM’s website, winner of the Best Associations Website award, boasts a dynamic social footer which incorporates interaction and content from LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook enabling increased engagement and understanding of site visitors. The SGIM website also features innovative search functionality by leveraging iAPPS’ out-of-the-box integration with Perceptive Software Enterprise Search (formerly ISYS Search), which natively indexes all media types, including content within PDF files, vastly improving the ease and speed in which users can access relevant content.
The Children’s Colorado website, winner of the Best Healthcare Website, features the ability to navigate by multiple classifications such as a child’s age, body area, condition, or sports injury, ensuring a user-friendly experience and positioning them as a leading resource for pediatric orthopedic healthcare. The website also includes critical resources for patients such as a physician locator, an appointment assistant tool, and important preliminary insurance and billing information.
The franchise winner of the Best Small Business Website award was developed on Bridgeline’s iAPPS ds (Digital Subscription) platform and boasts innovative design features to grab a visitor’s attention. Each of its 4,300 franchisee websites were built using responsive design, technology that triggers a website to automatically adjust its screen size and correctly render per the device being used. This capability helps store owners engage with customers no matter where they are or what device they are using. iAPPS ds enables franchises and large dealer networks to centralize and control their franchisee websites on a singular platform, while simultaneously allowing them to execute local marketing initiatives.
“It is a privilege to be honored by The Web Marketing Association again this year,” says Thomas Massie, Bridgeline Digital’s Chief Executive Officer. “The recognition is a testament to the strength of the iAPPS platform and the ability of our team to consistently develop best-in-class websites across multiple industries.”
