Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLIN), The Digital Engagement Company™, announced today that healthcare websites it developed for Children's Hospital Colorado, Winchester Hospital, and Moffitt Cancer Center were honored by the Interactive Media Council as award-winners in the Medical category for the 2012 Interactive Media Awards™(IMA). The IMAs recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor organizations for their outstanding achievement. The competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winning sites a boost in marketing and exposure.
“It is a privilege to be honored by the Interactive Media Awards again this year,” says Thomas Massie, Bridgeline Digital’s Chief Executive Officer. “The recognition validates the creativity and power behind the iAPPS platform. It also speaks to the way our developers are able to continually use iAPPS to push the envelope while building and designing excellent websites.”
The websites for Children's Hospital Colorado and Winchester Hospital both received the Best-in-Class award, the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. The Moffitt Cancer Center website won the Outstanding Achievement Award, the second highest honor bestowed by IMA.
All three websites were developed using the iAPPS platform. Each website features dynamic content and educational resources on preventive healthcare. Children’s Hospital Colorado offers functionality that helps to identify ailments using a filter by either body part or age group. Winchester Hospital integrates dynamic content on its homepage with information on diseases like breast cancer, along with more specific injuries such as those common to athletic activities. The Moffitt Cancer Center incorporates multiple video testimonial vignettes on its homepage to highlight patients that can share recovery stories. These unique tools help to increase overall customer engagement and led to the winning recognition in the 2012 IMAs.
