Five iAPPS Powered Websites Honored with 2013 WebAwards by Web Marketing Association

The five winning WebAward entries are GTE Financial (Outstanding Website), RegentAtlantic (Financial Services Standard of Excellence), Society of General Internal Medicine (Outstanding Website), and Winchester Hospital (Health Care Standard of Excellence). The award for Small Business Standard of Excellence was also won for a large, nationally known franchise organization.

Founded by the Web Marketing Association in 1997, the WebAwards is the annual standards-defining competition that sets industry benchmarks for the best websites in 96 industry categories submitted by interactive agencies and website marketing departments in more than 47 countries from around the world. The goal of the WebAwards is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective websites on the Internet today and to provide a solid point of reference, significant and valuable marketing opportunities and feedback to the professionals whose websites are entered.

Earning an Outstanding Website designation, GTE Financial’s website (gtefinancial.org) puts control into the hands of its marketing department in order to drive more effective and targeted multi-channel campaigns that are easier to plan, develop, execute, and adjust on-the-fly. This functionality delivers GTE’s team results in real-time, rather than relying on IT for changes and after-the-fact analytics reporting.


Winning the Financial Services Standard of Excellence, RegentAtlantic’s new website (regentatlantic.com) is powered and supported by the cutting-edge features within the iAPPS platform. The deep integration of digital engagement tools include the ability to publish engaging content with iAPPS Content Manager, ongoing site improve through suggestive web analytics with iAPPS Analyzer, and lead generation management with iAPPS Marketier


The large, national franchise organization website winning in the Small Business Standard of Excellence is managed on iAPPS ds, the premiere solution for Franchises and Large Dealer Networks. With iAPPS ds, the franchise organization is able to execute local marketing initiatives on a mobile-friendly platform, while also enabling their corporate marketing team to maintain superior brand control and oversee the distribution of marketing content to their franchise owner websites.

As an Outstanding Website winner, Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM.org) engaged Bridgeline to redevelop its main website and consolidate and enhance two microsites run by SGIM affiliate groups: the Association of Chiefs in General Internal Medicine (ACLGIM), and SGIM’s Journal of General Internal Medicine (JGIM). Leveraging iAPPS’ out-of-the-box integration with Perceptive Software Enterprise Search, the new site leverages search component catalogs natively within the iAPPS framework and indexes all media types. Lastly, Winchester Hospital (http://www.winchesterhospital.org), winner of the Health Care Standard of Excellence, worked with Bridgeline to develop a website that significantly increases patient engagement. On Winchester’s new site, visitors can filter services by type and to highlight key hospital programs such as outpatient surgery, maternity and women’s health. The new website was also developed to integrate with third-party medical databases.
