Jennifer Bakunas is Bridgeline Digital’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Florida region.
Ms. Bakunas came to Bridgeline Digital through the acquisition of Magnetic where she served as the CEO and was responsible for overseeing all key operations of the company and directing Magnetic’s management team. She was also instrumental in creating Magnetic’s unique corporate culture, resulting in 6 consecutive years of being awarded the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work recognition. Ms. Bakunas’ educational and professional experience have given her a unique mix of both business and technical expertise. She holds a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of enterprise web development, and is able to effectively share and communicate that knowledge with her customers and team. Prior to founding Magnetic, Ms. Bakunas held positions at Walt Disney World and IBM as a technical writer and website developer.
In addition to her responsibilities at Bridgeline Digital, Ms. Bakunas has received the Tampa Bay Business Journal's Young BusinessWoman of the Year Award for her contributions to both her profession and the community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay CEO Council, the Tampa Metro YMCA and the University of Tampa Entrepreneurship Center.
Ms. Bakunas holds a BA in Technical Writing and Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
John Galarneau is Bridgeline Digital’s Vice President of Engagements for the Florida Region.
Mr. Galarneau came to Bridgeline Digital through the acquisition of Magnetic, a web development company founded in 1997 that he joined in 2001 and served as the COO. At Magnetic, Mr. Galarneau oversaw and led the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems and teams that created and delivered the company’s products and services. Magnetic was awarded and recognized 6 consecutive years of being as one of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work.
Mr. Galarneau brings to Bridgeline Digital over 16 years of experience in the web development industry with roles that have ranged from Interactive Designer, Production Manager, Design Director, Creative Director, Vice President of Client Services, and Chief Operating Officer. He has successfully managed and handled the production cycle and design process for many large-scale projects including those for several Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Galarneau’s vast range of senior management experience, business expertise, and strong technical knowledge of internet technologies allows for effective communication between his team members and customers.
Mr. Galarneau attended and studied Interactive Media at the International Academy of Design & Technology.
